Eternal Trinity - a prayer of St. Catherine of Sienna

Eternal God, eternal Trinity, you have made the blood of Christ so precious through his sharing in your divine nature. You are a mystery as deep as the sea; the more I search, the more I find, and the more I find the more I search for you. But I can never be satisfied; what I receive will ever leave me desiring more. When you fill my soul I have an even greater hunger, and I grow more famished for your light. I desire above all to see you, the true light, as you really are.

I have tasted and seen the depth of your mystery and the beauty of your creation with the light of my understanding. I have clothed myself with your likeness and have seen what I shall be. Eternal Father, you have given me a share in your power and the wisdom that Christ claims as his own, and your Holy Spirit has given me the desire to love you. You are my Creator, eternal Trinity, and I am your creature. You have made of me a new creation in the blood of your Son, and I know that you are moved with love at the beauty of your creation, for you have enlightened me.

Eternal Trinity, Godhead, mystery deep as the sea, you could give me no greater gift than the gift of yourself. For you are a fire ever burning and never consumed, which itself consumes all the selfish love that fills my being. Yes, you are a fire that takes away the coldness, illuminates the mind with its light and causes me to know your truth. By this light, reflected as it were in a mirror, I recognise that you are the highest good, one we can neither comprehend nor fathom. And I know that you are beauty and wisdom itself. The food of angels, you gave yourself to man in the fire of your love.

You are the garment which covers our nakedness, and in our hunger you are a satisfying food, for you are sweetness and in you there is no taste of bitterness, O triune God!

Jesus

Prayer to Christ the King

Christ Jesus, I acknowledge You King of the universe. All that has been created has been made for You. Make full use of Your rights over me. I renew the promises I made in Baptism, when I renounced Satan and all his works and false glamour, and I promise to live a good Christian life and to do all in my power to procure the triumph of the rights of God and Your Church. Divine Heart of Jesus, I offer you my efforts in order to obtain that all hearts may acknowledge your Sacred Royalty, and that thus the Kingdom of Your peace may be established throughout the universe. Amen.

Prayer to the Divine Child Jesus

Divine Child Jesus, I adore Thee, I love and venerate Thee in Thy holy Infancy. I give Thee thanks that Thou hast become a Child for love of me, and in return I give and consecrate myself entirely to Thy love. I beg Thee to grant me, now, and throughout my life, the virtues of Thy holy Childhood. Give me, dear Jesus, the treasure of Thy humility, the sweetness of Thy charity, the gentleness of Thy patience, and the meekness of Thy Sacred Heart. O may Thy sweet grace draw me, a little one on earth, to love and imitate Thee, that I may forever see and enjoy Thy majesty in heaven. Amen.

Our Father…Hail Mary…Glory be…

Prayer to the Sacred Heart

My God, my Savior, I adore Thy Sacred Heart, for that heart is the seat and source of all Thy tender human affections for us sinners.

It is the instrument and organ of Thy love. It did beat for us. It yearned over us. It ached for us, and for our salvation. It was on fire through zeal, that the glory of God might be manifested in and by us. It is the channel through which has come to us all Thy overflowing human affection, all Thy Divine Charity towards us. All Thy incomprehensible compassion for us, as God and Man, as our Creator and our Redeemer and Judge, has come to us, and comes, in one inseparably mingled stream, through that Sacred Heart. O most Sacred symbol and Sacrament of Love, divine and human, in its fullness, Thou didst save me by Thy divine strength, and Thy human affection, and then at length by that wonder-working blood, wherewith Thou didst overflow. O most Sacred, most loving Heart of Jesus, Thou art concealed in the Holy Eucharist, and Thou beat for us still. Now as then Thou save, Desiderio desideravi—“With desire, I have desired.” I worship Thee then with all my best love and awe, with my fervent affection, with my most subdued, most resolved will. O my God, when Thou dost condescend to suffer me to receive Thee, to eat and drink Thee, and Thou for a while take up Thy abode within me, O make my heart beat with Thy Heart. Purify it of all that is earthly, all that is proud and sensual, all that is hard and cruel, of all perversity, of all disorder, of all deadness. So fill it with Thee, that neither the events of the day nor the circumstances of the time may have power to ruffle it, but that in Thy love and Thy fear it may have peace. Amen.

Act of Consecration to The Sacred Heart of Jesus

I give myself and consecrate to the Sacred Heart of our Lord Jesus Christ, my person and my life, my actions, pains and sufferings, so that I may be unwilling to make use of any part of my being other than to honor, love and glorify the Sacred Heart. This is my unchanging purpose, namely, to be all His, and to do all things for the love of Him, at the same time renouncing with all my heart whatever is displeasing to Him. I therefore take You, O Sacred heart, to be the only object of my love, the guardian of my life, my assurance of salvation, the remedy of my weakness and inconstancy, the atonement for all the faults of my life and my sure refuge at the hour of death.

Be then, O Heart of goodness, my justification before God the Father, and turn away from me the strokes of his righteous anger. O Heart of love, I put all my confidence in You, for I fear everything from my own wickedness and frailty, but I hope for all things from Your goodness and bounty.

Remove from me all that can displease You or resist Your holy will; let your pure love imprint Your image so deeply upon my heart, that I shall never be able to forget You or to be separated from You.

May I obtain from all Your loving kindness the grace of having my name written in Your Heart, for in You I desire to place all my happiness and glory, living and dying in bondage to You. Amen.

Divine Mercy Chaplet

Opening

You expired, Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for souls, and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world. O Fount of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelop the whole world and empty Yourself out upon us.

(Repeat Three Times) O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You! Apostles Creed, Our Father, Hail Mary, & Glory Be

Throughout the Loop of the Rosary

Our Father Beads: Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

(Hail Mary Beads) For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Closing

(Repeat Three Times) Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion — inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself. Amen.

Act of Reparation to the Sacred Heart by Pius XI

Most sweet Jesus, whose overflowing charity for men is requited by so much forgetfulness, negligence and contempt, behold us prostrate before Thee, eager to repair by a special act of homage the cruel indifference and injuries to which Thy loving Heart is everywhere subject.

Mindful, alas! that we ourselves have had a share in such great indignities, which we now deplore from the depths of our hearts, we humbly ask Thy pardon and declare our readiness to atone by voluntary expiation, not only for our own personal offenses, but also for the sins of those, who, straying far from the path of salvation, refuse in their obstinate infidelity to follow Thee, their Shepherd and Leader, or, renouncing the promises of their baptism, have cast off the sweet yoke of Thy law.

We are now resolved to expiate each and every deplorable outrage committed against Thee; we are now determined to make amends for the manifold offenses against Christian modesty in unbecoming dress and behavior, for all the foul seductions laid to ensnare the feet of the innocent, for the frequent violations of Sundays and holydays, and the shocking blasphemies uttered against Thee and Thy Saints. We wish also to make amends for the insults to which Thy Vicar on earth and Thy priests are subjected, for the profanation, by conscious neglect or terrible acts of sacrilege, of the very Sacrament of Thy Divine Love; and lastly for the public crimes of nations who resist the rights and teaching authority of the Church which Thou hast founded.

Would that we were able to wash away such abominations with our blood. We now offer, in reparation for these violations of Thy divine honor, the satisfaction Thou once made to Thy Eternal Father on the Cross and which Thou continuest to renew daily on our Altars; we offer it in union with the acts of atonement of Thy Virgin Mother and all the Saints and of the pious faithful on earth; and we sincerely promise to make recompense, as far as we can with the help of Thy grace, for all neglect of Thy great love and for the sins we and others have committed in the past. Henceforth, we will live a life of unswerving faith, of purity of conduct, of perfect observance of the precepts of the Gospel and especially that of charity. We promise to the best of our power to prevent others from offending Thee and to bring as many as possible to follow Thee.

O loving Jesus, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mother, our model in reparation, deign to receive the voluntary offering we make of this act of expiation; and by the crowning gift of perseverance keep us faithful unto death in our duty and the allegiance we owe to Thee, so that we may all one day come to that happy home, where with the Father and the Holy Spirit Thou livest and reignest, God, forever and ever. Amen.

Holy Spirit

HS Prayer

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and enkindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your spirit and they shall renew the face of the Earth.

O God, who has instructed the hearts of your faithful by the light of the Holy Spirit, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may have a right judgment in all things and evermore rejoice in his consolations.

A PRAYER OF ST. CYPRIAN

O Holy Spirit, be present,

and from heaven shed down your consolation

 on those that expect you;

sanctify the temple of my body,

and consecrate it as a dwelling place for yourself.

Make the souls that desire you joyful with your presence.

Make the house fit for you, the Inhabitant:

adorn your chamber and surround the place of your rest with all virtues;

expel whatever is unholy and the spring of corruption;

and make this joy permanent and lasting:

continuing the renewal of your creature forever

in unfading beauty. Amen.

PRAYER FOR THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT

O Holy Spirit of Grace,

be my Wisdom, to teach me my faith;

be my Understanding, in all my doubts;

be my Strength against all temptations;

be my Knowledge, in fulfilling my vocation;

be my Godliness, in all my actions;

be my holy Fear, all the day long:

that you may be my Comfort at the last,

and my Happiness forever. Amen.

-Another prayer-

O Holy Spirit, Living God,

dwell in me,

and let the sunshine of your love ripen your fruits in my soul.

May I grow in love, joy, and peace;

in patience, kindness, and goodness;

in long-suffering, mildness, and faith;

in modesty, continence and chastity.

Help me to crucify the flesh with its vices and desires.

Let me not fail in doing good, that in due time I may reap a fruitful harvest.

Show your mercy upon the Church of God.

Hear me quickly, O Lord, for without you my spirit fails,

and my life withers away.

Guide me, for you are the Spirit of grace;

and bring me to my inheritance, for you are the Spirit of truth.

Make me poor in spirit, that mine may be the kingdom of Heaven.

R. And you will renew the face of the earth.

Let us pray.

We ask this through Christ our Lord. R. Amen.

FIRST MYSTERY - Jesus is conceived by the Holy Spirit of the Virgin Mary.

Meditation: The Holy Spirit shall come upon you, and the power of the Most High shall overshadow you. Therefore also the Holy One which shall be born of you will be called the Son of God. (Luke 1, 35).

Application: Pray earnestly for the assistance of the Spirit of God and the intercession of Mary to imitate the virtues of Jesus Christ who is the pattern of every virtue, in order that you may be conformed to the image of the Son of God.

Pray the Our Father and Hail Mary once, and the Glory be to the Father seven times.

SECOND MYSTERY  - The Spirit of the Lord rests upon Jesus.

Meditation: After Jesus was baptized, he came up from the water and behold, the heavens were opened for him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming upon him. (Matt. 3, 16).

Application: Hold in highest esteem the precious gift of sanctifying grace which was infused into your heart in Baptism by the Holy Spirit. Keep the promises to whose observance you then bound yourself. By continual exercise increase your faith, your hope and your charity. Ever live as becomes a child of God and a member of the true Church of God, so that after this life you may receive heaven as your inheritance.

Pray the Our Father and Hail Mary once, and the Glory be to the Father seven times.

THIRD MYSTERY - Jesus is led by the Spirit into the desert.

Meditation: Filled with the holy Spirit, Jesus returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the desert  for forty days, to be tempted by the devil. (Luke 4:1, 2).

Application: Be ever thankful for the seven fold gifts of the Holy Spirit given to you in Confirmation, for the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, of counsel and fortitude, of knowledge and piety, and of the fear of the Lord. Faithfully obey your Divine Guide, so that you may act manfully in all the perils of this life and in all temptations, as becomes a perfect Christian and a strong athlete of Jesus Christ.

Pray the Our Father and Hail Mary once, and the Glory be to the Father seven times.

FOURTH MYSTERY - The Holy Spirit in the Church.

Meditation: And suddenly there came from the sky a noise like a strong driving wind, and it filled the entire house in which they were.  Then there appeared to them tongues as of fire, which parted and came to rest on each one of them.  And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in different tongues, as the Spirit enabled them to proclaim, of the mighty acts of God. (Acts 2: 2- 4, 11c).

Application: Give thanks to God that He has made you a child of His Church which is always enlivened and governed by his Divine Spirit, who was sent into the world on the day of Pentecost. Hear and follow the successors of the Apostles and the Church which is the pillar and ground of truth, guided infallibly by the Holy Spirit. Hold fast her doctrines, maintain her cause, defend her rights.

Pray the Our Father and Hail Mary once, and the Glory be to the Father seven times.

FIFTH MYSTERY - The Holy Spirit in the souls of the righteous.

Meditation: Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who lives in you? (1 Cor. 6, 19). Do not extinguish the Spirit (1 Thess. 5, 19).

Application: Be ever mindful of the Holy Spirit who is in you, and make every effort to be pure in mind and body. Faithfully obey His Divine inspirations, that you may bring forth the fruits of the Spirit: which are charity, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, longsuffering, meekness, faith, moderation, continence and chastity.

Pray the Our Father and Hail Mary once, and the Glory be to the Father seven times.

End with a prayer to the Holy Spirit from above

Consecration to Mary

O Mary, Virgin most powerful and Mother of mercy, Queen of Heaven and Refuge of sinners, we consecrate ourselves to thine Immaculate Heart.

We consecrate to thee our very being and our whole life; all that we have, all that we love, all that we are. To thee we give our bodies, our hearts and our souls; to thee we give our homes, our families, our country.

We desire that all that is in us and around us may belong to thee, and may share in the benefits of thy motherly benediction. And that this act of consecration may be truly efficacious and lasting, we renew this day at thy feet the promises of our Baptism and our first Holy Communion. We pledge ourselves to profess courageously and at all times the truths of our holy Faith, and to live as befits Catholics who are duly submissive to all the directions of the Pope and the Bishops in communion with him. We pledge ourselves to keep the commandments of God and His Church, in particular to keep holy the Lord's Day. We likewise pledge ourselves to make the consoling practices of the Christian religion, and above all, Holy Communion, an integral part of our lives, in so far as we shall be able so to do.

Finally, we promise thee, O glorious Mother of God and loving Mother of men, to devote ourselves whole-heartedly to the service of thy blessed cult, in order to hasten and assure, through the sovereignty of thine Immaculate Heart, the coming of the kingdom of the Sacred Heart of thine adorable Son, in our own hearts and in those of all men, in our country and in all the world, as in heaven. so, on earth. The introductory prayers prepare you for deep reflection. Think of any needs or struggles in your life and bring them to Mary. She cares for you like a loving mother, and wants to take your needs to Jesus. If you are praying with a group, you can say your intentions out loud so the rest of the group can pray for them as well.

St. Joseph

Prayer to Saint Joseph the Worker

O glorious Saint Joseph, model of all those who are devoted to labor, obtain for me the grace to work conscientiously. putting the call of duty above my natural inclinations, to work with gratitude and joy, in a spirit of penance for the remission of my sins, considering it an honor to employ and develop through labor the gifts received from God, to work with order, peace, moderation, and patience, without ever shrinking from weariness and difficulties, to work above all with purity of intention and detachment from self, having always death before my eyes and the account that 1 must render of time lost, of talents wasted, of good omitted, of vain complacency in success, so fatal to the work of God. All for Jesus, all through Mary, all after your example, O Patriarch, Saint Joseph. Such shall be my watchword in life and in death.

Memorare to St. Joseph

Remember, O most chaste spouse of the Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who implored your help and sought your intercession were left unassisted. Full of confidence in your power I fly unto you and beg your protection. Despise not O Guardian of the Redeemer my humble supplication, but in your bounty, hear and answer me. Amen. Act of Consecration to St. Joseph

 O dearest St. Joseph, I consecrate myself to your honor and give myself to you, that you may always be my father, my protector and my guide in the way of salvation. Obtain for me a greater purity of heart and fervent love of the interior life. After your example may I do all my actions for the greater glory of God, in union with the Divine Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. O Blessed St. Joseph, pray for me, that I may share in the peace and joy of your holy death. Amen.

Consecration to the Holy Family

O Lord Jesus,

you lived in the home of Mary and Joseph in Nazareth.

There you grew in age, wisdom and grace as you prepared to fulfill your mission as our Redeemer.

We entrust our family to you.

O Blessed Mary,

you are the Mother of our Savior.

At Nazareth you cared for Jesus

and nurtured him in the peace and joy of your home.

We entrust our family to you.

O Saint Joseph,

you provided a secure and loving home for Jesus and Mary, and gave us a model of fatherhood while showing us the dignity of work.

We entrust our family to you.

Holy Family, we consecrate ourselves and our family to you.

May we be completely united in a love that is lasting, faithful and open to the gift of new life.

Help us to grow in virtue, to forgive one another from our hearts, and to live in peace all our days.

Keep us strong in faith, persevering in prayer, diligent in our work, and generous toward those in need.

May our home, O Holy Family, truly become a domestic church

where we reflect your example in our daily life. Amen.

Jesus, Mary and Joseph, pray for us!

The Prayer to St. Thomas for Purity

Chosen lily of innocence, pure St. Thomas, who kept chaste the robe of baptism, and became an angel in the flesh after being girded by two angels, we (I) implore you to commend us (me) to Jesus, the Spotless Lamb, and to Mary, the Queen of Virgins. Gentle protector of our (my) purity, ask them that we (I), who wear the holy sign of your victory over the flesh, may also share your purity, and after imitating you on earth may at last come to be crowned with you among the angels. Amen.

The Prayer of St. Thomas for Purity

Dear Jesus, we (I) know that every perfect gift, and especially that of chastity, depends on the power of Your providence. Without You a mere creature can do nothing. Therefore, we (I) beg You to defend by Your grace the chastity and purity of our (my) bodies (body) and souls (soul). And if we (I) have ever sensed or imagined anything that could stain our (my) chastity and purity, blot it out, Supreme Lord of our (my) powers, that we (I) may advance with a pure heart in Your love and service, offering ourselves (myself) on the most pure altar of Your divinity all the days of our (my) lives (life). Amen.

and hands that your work might be done. May we walk and preach the word of God to all. May the angel of peace watch over us and lead us at last by God's grace to the Kingdom. Amen.

Prayer of St. Benedict

Gracious and holy Father, grant us the intellect to understand you, reason to discern you, diligence to seek you, wisdom to find you, a spirit to know you, a heart to meditate upon you. May our ears hear you; may our eyes behold you, and may our tongues proclaim you. Give us grace that our way of life may be pleasing to you, that we may have the patience to wait for you and the perseverance to look for you. Grant us a perfect end--your holy presence, a blessed resurrection and life everlasting. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Saint Therese of Lisieux’s Prayer for Priests

O Jesus, I pray for Your faithful and fervent priests; for Your unfaithful and tepid priests; for Your priests laboring at home or abroad in distant mission fields; for Your tempted priests; for Your lonely and desolate priest; for Your young priests; for Your dying priests; for the souls of Your priests in purgatory. But above all I recommend to You the priests dearest to me; the priest who baptized me; the priests who absolved me from my sins; the priests at whose Masses I assisted and who gave me Your Body and Blood in Holy communion; the priests who taught and instructed me; all the priests to whom I am indebted in any other way. O Jesus, keep them all close to Your heart, and bless them abundantly in time and in eternity. Amen.

Prayer to Saint Michael the Archangel

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Prayer to Saint Raphael, the Archangel

Glorious Archangel St. Raphael, great prince of the heavenly court, you are illustrious for your gifts of wisdom and grace. You are a guide of those who journey by land or sea or air, consoler of the afflicted, and refuge of sinners. I beg you, assist me in all my needs and in all the sufferings of this life, as once you helped the young Tobias on his travels. Because you are the “medicine of God” I humbly pray you to heal the many infirmities of my soul and the ills that afflict my body. I especially ask of you the favor (here mention your special intention), and the great grace of purity to prepare me to be the temple of the Holy Spirit.

Amen

Prayer of/attributed to Saint Francis of Assisi

Lord, make me a channel of thy peace, that where there is hatred, I may bring love; that where there is wrong,  I may bring the spirit of forgiveness; that where there is discord, I may bring harmony; that where there is error, I may bring truth; that where there is doubt, I may bring faith; that where there is despair, I may bring hope; that where there are shadows, I may bring light; that where there is sadness, I may bring joy. Lord, grant that I may seek rather to comfort than to be comforted; to understand, than to be understood; to love, than to be loved. For it is by self-forgetting that one finds. It is by forgiving that one is forgiven. It is by dying that one awakens to Eternal Life. Amen.

Prayer for Intercession of Michael McGivney

God, our Father, protector of the poor and defender of the widow and orphan, you called your priest, Blessed Michael McGivney, to be an apostle of Christian family life and to lead the young to the generous service of their neighbor. Through the example of his life and virtue, may we follow your Son, Jesus Christ, more closely, fulfilling his commandment of charity and building up his Body which is the Church. Let the inspiration of your servant prompt us to greater confidence in your love so that we may continue his work of caring for the needy and the outcast. We humbly ask that you glorify Blessed Michael McGivney on earth according to the design of your holy will. Through his intercession, grant the favor I now present (here make your request). Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Mother Teresa's "I thirst" Meditation

It is true. I stand at the door of your heart, day and night. Even when you are not listening, even when you doubt  it could be Me, I am there. I await even the smallest sign of your response, even the least whispered invitation that will allow Me to enter. And I want you to know that whenever you invite Me, I do come - always, without fail. Silent and unseen I come, but with infinite power and love, and bringing the many gifts of My Spirit. I come with My mercy, with My desire to forgive and heal you, and with a love for you beyond your comprehension - a love every bit as great as the love I have received from the Father ("As much as the Father has loved me, I have loved you..” [Jn. 15:10]). I come - longing to console you and give you strength, to lift you up and bind all your wounds. I bring you My light, to dispel your darkness and all your doubts. I come with My power, that I might carry you and all of your burdens; with My grace, to touch your heart and transform your life: and My peace I give to still your soul. I know you through and through - I know everything about you. The very hairs of your head I have numbered. Nothing in your life is unimportant to Me. I have followed you through the years, and | have always loved you - even in your wanderings. I know every one of your problems. I know your needs and your worries. And yes, I know all your sins. But I tell you again that I love you - not for what you have or haven't done - I love you for you, for the beauty and dignity My Father gave you by creating you in His own image. It is a dignity you have often forgotten, a beauty you have tarnished by sin. But I love you as you are, and I have shed My Blood to win you back. If you only ask Me with faith, My grace will touch all that needs changing in your life; and I will give you the strength to free yourself from sin and all its destructive power. I know what is in your heart - I know your loneliness and all your hurts - the rejections, the judgments, the humiliations. I carried it all before you. And I carried it all for you, so you might share My strength and victory. I know especially your need for love - how you are thirsting to be loved and cherished. But how often have you thirsted in vain, by seeking that love selfishly, striving to fill the emptiness inside you with passing pleasure - with the even greater emptiness of sin. Do you thirst for love? “Come to Me all you who thirst. . .” (Jn. 7:37). I will satisfy you and fill you. Do you thirst to be cherished? I cherish you more than you can imagine - to the point of dying on a cross for you. I thirst for you. Yes, that is the only way to even begin to describe My love for you: I THIRST FOR YOU. I thirst to love you and to be loved by you - that is how precious you are to Me. I THIRST FOR YOU. Come to Me, and I will fill your heart and heal your wounds. I will make you a new creation, and give you peace, even in all your trials. 1 THIRST FOR YOU. You must never doubt My mercy, My acceptance of you, My desire to forgive, My longing to bless you and live My life in you. I THIRST FOR YOU. If you feel unimportant in the eyes of the world, that matters not at all. For Me, there is no one any more important in the entire world than you. I THIRST FOR YOU. Open to me, come to Me, thirst for Me, give Me your life - and I will prove to you how important you are to My Heart. Don't you realize that My Father already has a perfect plan to transform your life, beginning from this moment? Trust in Me. Ask Me every day to enter and take charge of your life - and I will. I promise you before My Father in heaven that I will work miracles in your life. Why would I do this? Because I THIRST FOR YOU. All I ask is that you entrust yourself to Me completely. I will do all the rest. Even now I behold the place My Father has prepared for you in My Kingdom. Remember that you are a pilgrim in this life, on a journey home. Sin can never satisfy you, or bring the peace you seek. All that you have sought outside of Me has only left you more empty, so do not cling to the things of this life. Above all, do not run from Me when you fall. Come to Me without delay. When you give Me your sins, you give Me the joy of being your Savior. There is nothing I cannot forgive and heal: so come now, and unburden your soul. No matter how far you may wander, no matter how often you forget Me, no matter how many crosses you may bear in this life; there is one thing I want you to always remember, one thing that will never change: I THIRST FOR YOU -just as you are. You don't need to change to believe in My love, for it will be your belief in My love that will change you. You forget Me, and yet I am seeking you every moment of the day - standing at the door of your heart, and knocking. Do you find this hard to believe? Then look at the cross, look at My Heart that was pierced for you. Have you not understood My cross? Then listen again to the words I spoke there - for they tell you clearly why I endured all this for you: “I THIRST...” (Jn. 19:28). Yes, I thirst for you- as the rest of the psalm-verse I was praying says of Me: “T looked for love, and I found none...” (Ps. 69:20). All your life I have been looking for your love - I have never stopped seeking to love you and be loved by you. You have tried many other things in your search for happiness; why not try opening your heart to Me, right now, more than you ever have before. Whenever you do open the door of your heart, whenever you come close enough, you will hear Me say to you again and again, not in mere human words but in spirit: “No matter what you have done, I love you for your own sake. Come to Me with your misery and your sins, with your troubles and needs, and with all your longing to be loved. I stand at the door of your heart and knock ... Open to-Me, for I THIRST FOR YOU...”

"Be Satisfied with Me" attr. Anthony of Padua

Everyone longs to give themselves completely to someone,

to have a deep soul relationship with another,

to be loved thoroughly and exclusively,

But to a Christian, God says, “No, not until you are satisfied,

fulfilled and content with being loved by Me alone,

with giving yourself totally and unreservedly to Me.

With having an intensely personal and unique relationship with Me alone.

Discovering that only in Me is your satisfaction to be found,

will you be capable of the perfect human relationship,

that I have planned for you.

you will never be united to another

until you are united with Me.

Exclusive of anyone or anything else.

Exclusive of any other desires or longings.

I want you to stop planning, to stop wishing, and allow Me to give you

the most thrilling plan in existing… one you cannot imagine.

I want you to have the best. Please allow Me to bring it to you.

You keep watching Me, expecting the greatest things.

Keep experiencing the satisfaction that I am.

Keep listening and learning the things that I tell you.

Just wait, that’s all. Don’t be anxious, don’t worry

don’t look around at the things others have gotten

or that I have given them.

Don’t look around at the things you want,

just keep looking off and away up to Me,

or you’ll miss what I want to show you.

And then, when you’re ready, I’ll surprise you with a love

far more wonderful than you could dream of.

You see, until you are ready, and until the one I have for you is ready,

I am working even at this moment

to have both of you ready at the same time.

Until you are both satisfied exclusively with Me

and the life I prepared for you,

you won’t be able to experience the love that exemplified your relationship with Me.

And this is perfect love.

And dear one, I want you to have this most wonderful love,

I want you to see in the flesh a picture of your relationship with Me.

And to enjoy materially and concretely the everlasting union of beauty,

perfection and love that I offer you with Myself.

Know that I love you utterly. I AM God.

Believe it and be satisfied.

Prayer for Intercession of Nicholas Black Elk

The Monstrance Prayer for Evangelization

Our Father… Mary, you were the first and perfect monstrance, perfect follower of God’s Will, and most faithful disciple of Our Lord Jesus, make us in Your likeness. Hail Mary… Lord, make us Your monstrances. Live in us, and sanctify us as Your vessels. Grant Lord that You may be visible through us. Let our life be a light to those whom We encounter. Allow Your love to be radiated through us and that Your grace may flow through us to the hearts of those who need You. Let them feel Your presence through us. Form us to be Your holy vessels, and cleanse us of our infirmities, brighten our souls, and allow us to shine and glow with Your presence. Grant that by this, they would not be distracted by our imperfections and previous unguided choices. Guide us in Your plans for us, by Your grace lead us from sin, and closer in holiness and righteousness to that of Your most Sacred Heart. Allow that others would see Your presence in us, and therefore, help us to accurately represent You to Your creation, as the Saints before us. Make our heart your suitable dwelling. If there is anything that doesn’t satisfy you, let it be changed. Likewise, Lord, grant that by purifying our hearts, you would leaven the whole loaf, purifying our entire being; mind, body, and soul. That by being Your temples, You might live with in us, work through us by your Spirit, protect us from our enemies (visible and invisible), and preserve us in trial and temptation. We ask this through, Our Lord, Jesus Christ our Judge and our Savior and Mary, our Mother. Glory Be… Amen.
